We All Must Change

There are times when I feel like I can't face the day.
It seems the whole world has turned a different way.
Life just doesn't seem like the way it used to be.
It seems like the changes are getting ahead of me.

Life was so easy a long time ago,
But now as the years go by it seems a little slow.
The times they are changing now and it seems a little strange;
But that's all part or life and no one is to blame.

I used to think that life was an easy game to play,
But now it's getting harder day after day.
Sometimes I'm not quite sure who I really am.
I just wish that the good ol' days would all come back again.

I've always lived my life the way I thought I should
The way I thought I ought to - the way I thought I could.
But now I've got to figure out who I want to be
Where I want to go and what I want to see.

The years go by like the seasons in the wind
It seems a little hard to face the world again
But a new day will dawn again
The future's just around the bend
And life will never ever end
But we all must change.
